There are 10 thousand inhabitants, most of whom live in the largest town, which is Mykonos, and as we said, the town lies on the west coast. The town is also known as Chora (this is a common practice to have the name of the island itself to be the same as the name of the principal town).

Having been passed that, we have to say that on this beautiful island you’ll find happiness and beautiful architecture like no other place in the world.

You’ll have the rare pleasure to meet a real live pelican, which is like a mascot for this pleasure island.

Mykonos is named by its first ruler ‘Mykons’ , better known as son and grandson of Greek God Apollo, which was the local hero at his time. Other thing that is tightly tied around this place is the battle between Greek main God named Zeus, and the Titans and Hercules. Hercules, being Zeus’s half son, or demigod  ( offspring of God and ungodly creature ), killed all of the Titans, lured them into Mykonos to stay away from Mount Olympus, where all the other God’s lived.
